TikTok ads management

Running the ads is the easy part.

TikTok gets through creative faster than any other platform, an ad that would run for weeks on Meta can be finished here in days. We write, shoot and edit the videos as well as buying the media, which is the difference between a channel that keeps scaling and one that stalls in month two with a single tired ad.

What actually limits this channel

The account isn't the work. The next twenty videos are.

Every paid platform wears out creative eventually. TikTok does it fastest by a wide margin, and that single fact decides how the channel has to be run.

Meta Weeks
YouTube Weeks
TikTok Days
Text ads don't get boring. Videos do. A search ad can run for a year because nobody watches it twice. On TikTok the same person sees your ad repeatedly inside a fast, saturated feed, and the moment it stops feeling new the cost per result climbs. There's no bidding fix for that.

Which is why "we'll manage your TikTok ads" is half an offer.

Managing the account is a few hours a week. Feeding it is the job. Most agencies will optimise your campaigns and then ask you to send more videos, and when you can't, performance drops and everyone blames the platform. We make the creative too, through media production in house, so the account never runs dry waiting on you.

Fit, honestly

TikTok is brilliant for some businesses and a waste for others.

The platform rewards a specific kind of advertiser and quietly punishes everyone else. Find yourself below before you budget for it.

Should you be advertising on TikTok? Honest answer
You can show the thing working Products with visible before-and-after, a satisfying demonstration, or an obvious hook in the first second. TikTok is a demonstration medium more than a persuasion one, if it looks good happening, it belongs here. Yes, clearly
You sell direct to consumer, at impulse price points Low consideration, quick decision, ideally something under a couple of hundred dollars. TikTok Shop makes the path from watching to buying shorter than any other platform manages. Yes, clearly
Your buyers are under forty The audience has broadened a lot and still skews younger than Facebook. If your customer is thirty and researches on their phone in bed, this is where they are. Yes, clearly
Local services with mass appeal Dentists, gyms, salons, restaurants, anything with visual proof and broad local demand can work. Trades and emergency services usually can't, because nobody browses TikTok looking for a plumber. Worth testing
Regulated categories Legal, healthcare and financial services can advertise here, and the review process got stricter after the ownership change. Workable with the right claims and disclosures, and slower to get approved than you'd expect. Worth testing
You can't produce creative continuously The most common reason TikTok fails. This platform consumes ads faster than anything else, a concept that worked for weeks on Meta can be exhausted here in days. If you can produce one video a quarter, no budget or targeting will rescue it. Not yet
Enterprise B2B with a long cycle Six-figure contracts, procurement committees, twelve-month evaluations. The audience is technically there and the intent isn't. LinkedIn is the honest answer for this. Probably not
You need leads this month TikTok takes a learning period and several creative iterations before it settles. If the pipeline is empty right now, search answers that faster and TikTok can come later. Not yet
Coming back after a pause? Accounts that sat idle through the ban uncertainty don't resume where they stopped, expect a learning period of a month or two and plan creative for it. That's the single most common way a restart gets written off too early.

What's included

Creative and media buying, as one job.

Splitting these across two suppliers is where TikTok campaigns usually break, the buyer waits on the producer, the producer doesn't see the performance data, and nobody owns the outcome.

01

Ongoing creative production

Scripting, filming and editing on a continuous cycle rather than a launch batch. Multiple variations at a time, with fresh ones ready before the current set fatigues.

02

Built native to the feed

Vertical, direct to camera, no logo opening. Anything that looks like a television commercial gets scrolled past here.

Studio polishFilmed on a phone
VoiceoverSomeone talking
One hero videoMany, refreshed
03

Campaign build and buying

Account structure, Smart Performance and manual campaigns, bidding, budgets and daily management. The part every agency does, done properly.

04

Spark Ads and creator content

Running ads through organic posts, yours or a creator's, so they carry real engagement and social proof instead of arriving cold as an advert.

05

Tracking and TikTok Shop

Pixel and Events API setup so conversions are attributed properly, plus catalogue and Shop configuration where you sell directly in-app.

06

Compliance-aware builds

Ad review is stricter in regulated categories. For legal, healthcare and finance clients we build claims and disclosures to pass first time rather than iterating through rejections.

Questions

Before you restart.

We tried TikTok before and stopped. What changes if we restart?

Your account, pixel and historical data are intact, nothing was reset. But budget a 30 to 60 day learning period, because an account that sat idle doesn't resume where it stopped, and expect ad review to be stricter than you remember. The new structure added compliance checks around targeting parameters, content categories and audience segments. Most restarts that get abandoned are abandoned in week three, before the account has settled.

Does TikTok work for regulated industries like law, healthcare or finance?

Yes, with more care than before. Regulated advertising is one of the areas where policy tightened after the ownership change, and the framework is now more explicit and more systematically enforced. In practice that means claims, disclosures and landing pages get scrutinised harder, and approvals take longer. It's workable, we run campaigns in all three, and it's much cheaper to build for compliance upfront than to iterate through a rejection queue.

How much creative does a TikTok campaign actually need?

More than any other platform, and this is where most campaigns fail. A concept that runs for weeks on Meta can be exhausted here in days. Plan on a continuous supply rather than a launch batch, several variations at a time, refreshed regularly. If producing that isn't realistic for you, that's a genuine reason not to run TikTok, and we'd say so rather than take the budget.

Do our ads need to look professionally produced?

Usually the opposite. Polished, obviously-produced advertising gets scrolled past on this platform, the feed rewards content that looks like it belongs there. Phone-shot, someone talking to camera, vertical, unglamorous tends to outperform studio work by a wide margin. That's not an excuse for low effort; making something that feels native and still sells is harder than making something that looks expensive.

What should we budget?

Our engagements start at $5,000/month across paid channels, with TikTok usually a portion rather than standalone. On media spend, plan on enough to get through the learning period without stopping, starting and pausing repeatedly is worse than starting later with a runway. Creative production is quoted separately and is a real line item here, not an afterthought.

Is TikTok still going to be banned in the US?

The situation was resolved in January 2026. TikTok's US operations were divested into a new US-majority joint venture, which the administration has treated as satisfying the 2024 law's divestiture requirement, ending the period when a nationwide ban was legally live. Advertisers can plan on normal timelines again.

Worth being precise though: the underlying law wasn't repealed, it was satisfied. Some legal questions about the structure remain open. That's a very different risk profile from two years ago and it isn't zero, so we keep an eye on it rather than assuming it's permanently closed.

Is the audience still mostly teenagers?

No, and this is the most persistent outdated assumption about the platform. The audience broadened substantially over the last few years and now spans well into middle age, though it still skews younger than Facebook. The more useful question isn't age, it's behaviour, whether your customer discovers things by scrolling, or goes looking with a search box. TikTok reaches the first group extremely well and the second barely at all.
