How to Delete a Contact from ClickFunnels (2026 Guide)

ClickFunnels retired Actionetics, its old built-in email and CRM tool, some time ago. If you're looking for it to delete a contact, you won't find it. Contact management now lives directly under Customers → Contacts on the current platform. Here's the exact, current process, for both a single contact and a bulk deletion.

Option 1: Delete a Single Contact (Current ClickFunnels)

1. From the left-hand menu, click "Customers," then select "Contacts."
2. Find the contact in your list and click their name to open their profile.
3. Open the "Manage Contact" dropdown on their profile.
4. Choose "Remove Contact" to take them out of your active list, or "GDPR Delete" to permanently anonymize all of their data.
5. If you chose GDPR Delete, type "DELETE" in the confirmation field and click "Proceed."

Option 2: Delete Multiple Contacts at Once

1. Go to Customers → Contacts and filter your list if needed (by date range or other criteria).
2. Select the contacts you want to remove using the checkboxes, or select all.
3. Click "Actions," then choose "Delete Contacts" from the Actions or Bulk Actions menu.
4. Type "DELETE" in the confirmation popup. Eligible contacts are deleted immediately.
5. Check for failures: contacts with active orders, subscriptions, or course enrollments won't be deleted and will appear in a Failed Contacts section instead.

To find and fix failed deletions, click Actions → Other Actions → Deletions to see the list and the reason each one failed. For a contact that failed due to a course enrollment, click their email to manage and remove the enrollment, then attempt the delete again.

If You're Still on ClickFunnels Classic

Older accounts running ClickFunnels Classic use a different menu path. If your dashboard still looks like the legacy ClickFunnels interface (not the newer Customers/Contacts layout), use this instead:

1. Hover over "ClickFunnels" or "Follow-Up Funnels" in the main menu and click "Contacts."
2. Find the contact and click their name to open their profile.
3. Click "Edit Profile."
4. Scroll down and click "Archive Contact."
5. Click "Delete Contact (GDPR Compliance)."
6. Type "DELETE" (all caps) and click "Delete" to confirm.

For bulk deletion on Classic, the same Contacts page offers a Mass Actions option: filter your list, select contacts, click Delete, and confirm by typing DELETE.
