If you have been blocked by Google Ad, you have certainly violated its policy. Follow the below-mentioned steps to get your account restored:

  1. Know the reason behind the suspension

Unless you are permanently banned, Google will intimate you about your Ad account suspension through an email. Go through the email to know what policy violations have been noticed in your account. Navigate through the link provided in the email and thorough yourself with the concerned policy.

2. Make your account compliant

Once you learn the violation, take the necessary step to correct the same before submitting your review appeal. 

  • If it is related to Ad content, click on the relevant Ad to edit it before submitting your appeal. You can do so by logging into your Google Ads account, finding the relevant Ad in the Ads and extensions page. Click on the “pencil” icon to edit it. Once completed save it to submit the same for review.
  • If it is related to your website content, get in touch with your Webmaster to make the necessary changes. Make sure your website has all the content as required by Google’s policies and does not contain any unwanted content in any form.
  • If the issue is due to payment method, then change your existing payment method and add a new one that meets Google’s requirements. If the suspension is due to pending payment, clear your dues to avail the services again.

3. Once the review appeal is submitted, wait for Google’s team to get back. It usually takes 5-7 business days for Google to review. If your appeal is accepted, your suspension will be lifted. If the appeal is rejected, it can be resubmitted.

Important note: Never submit a review appeal without correcting the violation. This is will only create a bad impression and may lead to a permanent ban.

Appeal in case of error

Google seldom makes any error while suspending any of its users’ accounts. However, if you think that there has been an error and you have not committed any violation, then you can submit an appeal from the link given in your intimation email.
