Here are the steps that we have compiled based on the testing our Facebook Pixel with Shopify catalog that helped us to fix connection issue with Shopify Catalog. The only problem we can’t figure out is how to connect our pixel to this this catalog that is automatically created by Shopify. It says the catalog is managed by Shopify… Please watch this video and follow these steps:

1. Login to Facebook Ads Manager.

2. Go to Business Manager -> Assets -> Catalogs

3. Click your Shopify Store catalog

4. Make sure that under Event Data Sources you can’t connect corrent Pixel -> Go back to Catalogs

5. Click Create Catalog -> Go to Products -> Add products -> Connect Facebook Pixel

6. DONE
